Jerry has been in the woodworking and construction fields formally since 1992. He graduated from Fort Hays State University with a degree in Industrial Technology. Although his construction background started at a young age as a Gopher on jobsites for Mick Brothers Construction helping his father and uncle. Jerry has worked in nearly every facet of the industry. In 1996, he helped start Classic Wood Interiors in Minneapolis Kansas with his father and uncle. In 1997, Jerry and his father started the Cabinet Connection showroom in Salina Kansas. Jerry’s experience also includes teaching high school woodworking, construction and drafting for 17 years. In 2013, Jerry purchased Cabinet Connection from his father, Mike when he retired. Jerry has done every aspect of the construction business from building new construction, remodeling, cabinet manufacturing/production and assembly, cabinet and countertop installation, countertop fabrication, project design and project management.
